About Ben Cramer
I am a 2024 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I completed Bachelor of Arts degrees in Geography and Geographic Information Systems/Cartography and completed a Certificate in Organic Agriculture. In recognition of my work in the department as the president of the Wisconsin Undergraduate Geography Club and member of the Undergraduate Geography Committee, I was honored to be the 2024 recipient of the Clarence W. Olmstead Award for Excellence of Scholarship in Geography. I currently teach High School Geography and Physical Education at Europa High School in Budapest, Hungary as a part of the Bilingual Program. With my goals set for future postgraduate studies, I am interested in the fields of Urban Planning, Urban Geography, and Community Development and am looking to pursue a Master's Degree in Urban Planning. I believe that my passions for learning, creating and empowering diverse and sustainable urban communities, and helping those around me are skills that will make me successful in this effort.
