About Ben Curtis

As a Business Administration major, I never dreamed that full-time ministry would become my life path. During my freshman year in college, I could sense that God wanted more of me. As I surrendered my plans and dreams to him, the call to discipleship and the call to ministry were almost simultaneous. I was immersed in a culture of Christian discipleship, something that had been lacking during the first several years of my faith journey. Godly men (church planters and denominational leaders) mentored me and provided opportunities to test out my gifts. Since then, my goal has been to make mature disciples of all nations for the glory of God. I have served as pastor in three churches over the last eighteen years. God has given me the desire to shape the next generation of leaders with a missional mindset. I especially enjoy equipping and leading short-term mission teams and have found this to be an effective avenue of discipleship for our own church body. I am happily married to Mandy and have two children, Ethan and Lydia. In addition to hanging out with my family, I enjoy rowing, cycling, running occasionally, and anything outdoors.
