About Ben Johnson

Growing up on a potato and wheat farm in Eastern Idaho taught me the value of hard work, problem solving, AND the importance of enjoying life's moments. All summer, I would get up early to move the irrigation pipe. Some days, we would take a break and head to the lake to waterski and wakeboard, only to return in the evening to move the pipe again. Every fall, we would drop everything to harvest the potatoes for about a week, usually followed by a celebration at Lake Powell. Fast forward to today, my purpose in life is to create lasting relationships with my family. I’m grateful for my awesome wife and business partner, Cynda, and our four amazing kids. We are particularly grateful for our kids because it was so hard to get them here due to our struggles with infertility. My happy place is playing in the water or the snow with my family. I love cooking and eating food! One of the items on my lifetime wish list is to be able to cook a delicious dish from every country in the world. I also love spending time in Latin America. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed leading, starting, and buying various businesses. I am a CFA and CPA, and have worked with some incredible companies in New York, San Francisco, and Idaho. I've sat in every leadership team seat in a typical accountability chart, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing today's entrepreneurial leaders. My core focus is to personally help 500 entrepreneurial leaders run a better business and live a better life in the next ten years.
