About Ben Robinson

Director/Founder of LFAS. Investigator at the Housing Ombudsman Service. First aid instructor. Pre hospital medic. Combined Cadet Force Officer. Youth worker. Costa lover! A rather odd mix of experiences and qualifications gives me a broad range of specialisms ranging from health and safety to training, volunteer management and compliance. I have a personal passion for compliance training, particularly first aid, as I firmly believe this puts individuals in the best position to save lives - a simple skill that cannot be overstated. As an avid lifelong learner, I’m currently working towards achieving both Chartered Health and safety and chartered manager status, through further studies in health and safety and leadership and management. I am known affectionately as a policy nerd and can often be found with my head in legislation, codes of practice, policies or other similar documents.
