About Ben Wilemon

One of my favorite quotes is from John Wanamaker who was a marketing innovator in the late 1800s. He is attributed as saying, “half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don’t know which half.” At the heart of this quote is the evaluation of how effective a message is to a larger audience with varying expectations, needs and perspectives. I find this concept fascinating. Speaking as a voice of an organization, often the logical components of the message, while important, are less effective than the emotional connection to the audience and the credibility of the company. Impactful corporate narratives and consistent, proactive communications can inspire employees and excite customers to build long-lasting relationships that ultimately help organizations achieve their goals. I have over a decade of experience building relationships and driving organizational goals through stories that create connections with eclectic audiences. I am skilled at community engagement, reputation management, media relations and crisis and executive communications through a variety of mediums.
