About Benjamin Bauer

I am a writer, editor, and adventure designer who is passionate about using stories to raise awareness of the world and social structures which surround us. I’ve written screenplays, RPG adventures, and character breakdowns for casting. I am finishing a multiyear project where my brother Max and I wrote a series D&D 5E one-shot adventures. During that time, I had to hone my editing ability, as well as immerse myself in the mechanics of 5E and other TTRPGs. This has led to a focus on other skills I needed while working on this project, such as narrative design, structure, and formatting. I’ve also spent the past seven years working for Keywords Studios as a Player Engagement agent. In this time I’ve improved my soft skills and worked on projects where I proved myself to be an asset through my hard work, willingness to accept and incorporate feedback, and ask questions. I also trained new agents, took on documentation tasks, and interfaced with our clients. Background in cinema, literature, pop culture, neuroscience and behavioural science, history, anthropology, Japan, Heavy Metal music, TTRPGs and tabletop games more generally.
