I am currently a Senior Marketing Manager at Canpotex International Pte Ltd. Canpotex is an offshore marketing and logistics company owned by two fertilizer producers: Mosaic and Nutrien, whose 10 potash mines are located in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. As the world's premier potash exporter, Canpotex delivers over 15 million tonnes of high quality Canadian potash annually to more than 40 countries.In this role, I cover markets in the Southeast Asia region. Together with a highly knowledgeable and professional marketing team, my responsibilities include negotiation of sales contracts and service agreements, business development, asset management, identifying strategic sales and distribution channels, supply chain management and market research on key trends and opportunities.As a key senior member of the marketing team with extensive experience in the commodities sector, I strive to provide market leadership within the industry, navigating the market landscape which at times can be complex, unpredictable and challenging.Potash is one of Canada's largest exports, and I am proud to play a key role in ensuring our product makes a positive impact to our international food supply and the livelihoods of farmers.Outside of work, I am passionate about connecting with our youth to help guide and inspire them to realize their potential and make a positive community impact. I am currently volunteering as a mentor at a nonprofit organization which services youths from low-income and/or dysfunctional backgrounds.
