About Benjamin Swank

Ben attended Brigham Young University where he studied Nonprofit Business and Recreation Management in the Marriot School of Business. He also served as a full time volunteer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nevada from 2009 to 2011. After graduating Ben worked 5 years as a District Executive then Senior District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America. Discovering a passion and excitement for lifting others by connecting philanthropists to causes they find meaningful and fulfilling, Ben moved on to his current position as a Major Gift Officer at Intermountain Foundation. Ben loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking in beautiful Southern Utah with his family. His professional goal is to make it possible for the people around him, family, neighbors and greater community, to live the healthiest lives possible by finding those that take joy in partnering together to forward value-based healthcare. He is personally passionate about upstream care, working with youth populations and mental wellness. Ben has significant experience in fundraising, board management, capital campaigns, blended giving, and public speaking. Outside of work Ben is passionate about fostering positive youth development, promoting outdoor recreation, and creating greater access to and conservation of natural resources and wilderness. When he is not working you can find him with his family, volunteering with youth focused organizations, hiking, canoeing, and mountain biking.
