About Bennett Jocelyn
I have worked for over 30 years in some capacity of Education. Every day is something to learn or experience that touches me daily. My job is busy, for I can wear multiple hats, monitor, mentor, paraprofessional, substitute, cafeteria, or playground helper. I created two communication outlets to enhance the Bethesda-Lynbrook Center. I worked in childcare with School-Age kids. Doing my time their I completed a School-Age Certificate Program. My students learned life skills, home economics, and art relaxation.( a tool of mine). I started the Can We Talk Peer Group and the Centers first News Letter. However, nothing compares to random hugs from children. When I was in high school, my dream was to meet Renee Poussaint on Channel 7. When I won a Work-Study Award, she presented it to me. So my subsequent victory will be finishing my book, starting my own business, and that edgy Podcast. My ultimate accomplishment is becoming a mother.
