About Bernd Brauer

Bernd (Ben) Brauer comes from a background of International Project Management and Corporate Strategy, having worked at the highest level for two of the world's largest technology firms, Ericsson and Siemens prior to his venture into strategic management consultancy & marketing - primarily support to government, private organisations and international sports teams (Americas Cup Yachting), providing advice on high-level business strategy & motivation. Ben is President of New Beginnings International Youth Charity, a Queensland not-for-profit Organisation that he founded in New Beginnings believes firmly that the best way to tackle youth anti-social behaviour is through effective prevention, boosting of self-esteem & imparting principles of community and leadership. The charity has been conducting youth camps and in-school workshops in Australia since 2001, targeted specifically at disadvantaged or at-risk children of 8 to 14 years old, the age at which powerful impacts can still be achieved. In 2020 the Organisation extended its existing involvement in conservation to the preservation of Australia’s unique Marine Environment. Since 2013, the organisation has also been providing educational aid to schools in remote regions of Ghana Africa and threatened indigenous tribes in the Americas. Additionally, as President of the Gold Coast Multicultural Festival and Queensland Cultural Events, Ben has extended his work to assisting diverse multicultural communities by providing them with support and opportunities to showcase their traditional cultures. Ben believes this is the best way of dispelling negative stereotypes and create greater harmony in our society.
