About Beth Vecchione

I am a Director of a social enterprise Care to Dance, which is driven by a passion to ensure every young person in care has the opportunity to enjoy the benefits that come from being involved in dance. Our mission is to pioneer new ways of using dance to improve the wellbeing of young people in care. We aim to improve young people’s wellbeing whilst increasing their educational outcomes and developing a young persons sense of stability through providing consistent relationships with other children who share similar experiences. I am a Qualified Social Worker and have worked with children and families within a statutory setting from 2016-2023 Check out our Impact Reports on I have hosted a podcast series for Frontline’s Stories of Change, speaking with a number of inspirational individuals and organisations leading positive change. BA Criminology PGDip Social Work MSc Relationship-based social work with children and families I am due to commence a PhD in exploring the impact the Arts can have on Asylum Seekers and Refugees in collaboration with Newcastle University and Curious Monkey.
