About Bijayananda Sahoo

With more than two decades of experience in R&D and skills in CMC and BE, I do contribute to the development and timely delivery of innovative, cost-effective, complex, quality generic medicines to the Top Pharmaceutical Research Organizations. I have 23 years of professional experience, much of which is in developing pharmaceutical dosage forms using various platform technologies and product development strategies, for several different regulated markets. I lead a group of professional scientists engaged in dedicated research work to deliver the innovative complex products. I also have adequate exposure to pertinent project management, operation management for a pharmaceutical R&D unit, techno-commercial management, etc, in addition to my core experience in formulation development and technology transfer. Experience: 1. Immediate release formulations of all BCS classes molecules 2. Delayed release formulations (pellets filled into capsules; pellets compressed into tablets; enteric coated tablets, etc.) 3. Extended release formulations (polymeric matrix tablets; polymeric matrix tablets coated with slowly erodible polymer, etc.) 4. Osmotic release formulations (tablets with osmotic core and release controlling polymer, coated with semipermeable polymer, drilled with laser rays; tablets with osmotic core and release controlling polymer, coated with polymers having pore performer, etc.) 5.
