About Bindra Shah

Highly-motivated Public Health Professional and Project Manager. Passionate about access to care, health equity, social determinants of health, and health system improvement. Currently working for Ontario Health, I am committed to using my public health expertise to enhance health system decision-making and drive the adoption of equitable, person-centred care in service delivery. Through my work, I play an active role collaborating with regional partners to plan, manage, and implement system-level programs and advance quality of healthcare province-wide. I further apply my public health passion and skills through my involvement with Public Health Insight, a knowledge translation organization that supports evidence-informed public health communication through podcasting. My diverse educational and professional experiences have allowed me to develop a strong skillset needed to effectively lead a wide range of public health projects, including research, planning, and evaluation activities in a multi-stakeholder environment. I am open to any opportunities or collaborations that will continue to help me utilize my passion for transcending public health research into healthcare policy, practice, and advocacy.
