The importance of safe and clean water has always driven my passion for civil engineering. From a young age, I've understood the critical role water plays in our lives and the need to ensure its availability and quality. I pursued a Master of Professional Engineering (Civil Engineering) at the University of Western Australia, achieving a GPA of 6.25/7. During my studies, I immersed myself in various facets of civil engineering, excelling in Hydrology, Hydraulics, and Engineering Surveying & Design. With 7 years' experience in consulting companies within the water engineering industry, my professional journey has been both diverse and enriching- Hydrologist at Hydrotech Research Institute (4 years): Led flood modeling projects, developed comprehensive dredging plans, and enhanced floodway conveyance by 20%- Hydraulic Engineer at TYLin (3 years): Coordinated land rezoning projects, designed stormwater drainage systems across 18 projects, and managed on-site challenges to ensure successful project completion- Team Member at Enitiate Inc: Collaborated with a dynamic team to provide engineering solutions to community partners, ensuring sustainable groundwater operations- General Committee at The Civil Society, UWA: Supported industry events and student employability through large-scale networking events. I'm driven by the desire to contribute to impactful projects that benefit our communities. I pride myself on my methodical approach, adaptability, and continuous learning.
