I have been a PGA golf instructor and administrator for over 35 years, including a five year stint as the Executive Director of the New Jersey PGA.My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that golf is a Mind/Body game, a motion game,not an eye-hand hit the ball game. Sound swings don't produce understanding but rather understanding produces sound swings. Confidence comes from knowledge and understanding. This philosophy has enabled me to assist students of all levels to improve their golf games and maximize their potential to play and enjoy the game. As an instructor or coach my goal is to not only improve a golfers game but their quality of life by making golfing a more pleasurable experience. Specialties: I believe that students need to learn the short game as its where you score and it is a mini version of the full swing.Golfers need to understand where proper impact is with a wedge in their hands to be able to transfer that feel to the full swing and trust the club to do the work.
