Whether it be through my own assignments or in helping other recruiters and colleagues, my goal is to be a 'connector' within the mining and natural resources industries. I strive to build relationships that allow me to network deep within these select industries. I do my recruiting by networking, not headhunting. This builds trust within the industry both on the employer side and on the candidate side. This approach has not only proven to be more successful but also maintains an inherently high standard for integrity in everything we do. I always try to learn as much as I can about the people and companies I'm working with. I have personally been out to remote mine sites, at corporate headquarters, attended industry trade shows, and have been a Member of associations such as the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME). All this helps me stay in touch with what's really happening on the ground, not just sitting behind a computer looking in from the outside. Specialties: Mining industry research, networking, recruiting, intelligence, staffing project management and development, consulting. EPCM projects, gold, copper and diversified mining commodity background including Oil & Gas and engineering service companies. Also working on building social media communities for mining and related industries.
