About Bob Vugs

My Journey It all started when I was 16 years old! worked as a bartender in a club/brown pub, until I was 19, Afrer being intrigued by hospitality. Iwent to study hotelmanagement for 2 years instead of 4. Which I was able to do, because of my high school education (HAVO). During my internship I was stationed in Iceland at Boutique Hotel 4star, 40-rooms, michelin-star restaurant and Bar. Traveled to madrid to study spirits and mixology. Next up was The Pullman hotel Eindhoven for 2 years as headbartender. After I transfered to New Zealand at the Sofitel 5* star viaduct harbour hotel for a year. During covid, i came back home and worked as headbartender for a year at FifthNRE in Eindhoven. Had an Amazing opportunity to open a 5*star boutique hotel in Ireland, cashel! and was in charge of the 13seats cocktailbar. Finishes the Instructor's Academy and Graduated! European bartending school, in Palma, Mallorca At the moment i am running the European Bartender School in Berlin as school manager. The Next step is following my dreams, to study mixology and practice the thing I love the most! So far I reached every goal I have set for myself! Moving step by step closer to my "Big 5 for life!"
