Third-generation fisherman and have worked as a commercial abalone diver along Western Australia’s south coast for 12 years. With extensive aquaculture experience having worked in Tasmania in the ’90s on abalone, Atlantic salmon, oysters, and mussels. I have been actively involved in Abalone Aquaculture research and development in Western Australia since have served as a director of the Western Australian Fishing Industry Council from 2009 to 2011, and Chairman from 2011 to 2013. Currently serving as a a Director on Seafood Industry Australia and Chair of Aquaculture Council of WA. Founder and current Managing Director at ASX listed business - Rare Foods Australia (formerly Ocean Grown Abalone) since 2013. The business has recently diversified into subsea winemaking with the launch of Subsea Estate. Very interested in all aspects of the Seafood industry - harvest, production, supply chain, and marketing. Very keen to promote the benefits of seafood and the seafood industry to a wider audience.
