A graduate of Master's by research in Clinical Veterinary Sciences and Biotechnology (Hons) at the University of Edinburgh. During my period of undergraduate study, I have built the foundation of knowledge and skills of current biological techniques used in current research. I am particularly interested in the understanding the basis of diseases and the application of techniques to diagnose and investigate such diseases further. In my Master's project, I expanded my practical lab work skill set in optimising primary mammalian cell culture and transfection via electroporation. Additionally I practised the use of standard methods such as immunohistochemistry and qPCR.
