About Brandon Walker

My name is Brandon Walker, I am a graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce where I have acquired my MBA. In 2014 I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Journalism & Public Relations with a minor in Radio-Television. During my time as an undergrad, I participated in various campus organization such as the African American mentorship program where I was a mentor and a dedicated Sports Writer for our campus University newspaper titled "The East Texan". I currently work for a Nonprofit organization named Education is Freedom where our goal is to transform students lives through education. Even though I work in education where I enjoy the mentorship I am able to provide for my students of different cultures and ethnicities I have aspirations of growing in a career of Broadcast or within the media field where I channel my marketing and communication expertise to helping companies expand their global marketing while also helping communities who are in need of beneficial assistance. I've capitalized on my entrepreneurial abilities by establishing a Multimedia Journalism brand called "TheWalkerReview." The WalkerReview brand highlights local, upcoming musicians, artist, athletes, comedians, and fashion designers in the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metropolitan area. While not only scouting potential and local talent, I have the humbling opportunity to learn about their passion and capture the story behind their craft. craft.
