Soon to retire.35 years working in a roads environment. Initially surveying and digitising Glasgow's road network. This has led on to Roads Maintenance Management Systems specialising in GIS. Further roads experience in Asset Management and Performance Management has led to a broad but detailed level of experience in Roads Asset Management and corporate GIS. Now in a supervisory post preparing and supervising a multi million pound asset improvement project. Prepare project assessments, programming and financial control. Ensure roads projects are programmed within a tight schedule, delivered on time and within budget. Prepare contracts and tender returns. Assess and score contract returns. Liaise closely with procurement on frameworks, quickquotes and tender process. Work with Legal on TTROs and tender awards. Meet regularly with finance to ensure targets are being met. Performance information prepared both for external and internal agencies. Specialties: Cadcorp GIS, Asset Management, Performance Management, Contract preparation and management, team management and project management.
