Background
About Brett Hicks
After graduating high school, I attended Southwest Mississippi Community College where I played football and baseball while obtaining my AA degree. I then transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi where I graduated with a BA in coaching and sports administration while playing for the Golden Eagle football team. After coaching and teaching in a public high school, I ventured into commercial poultry farming for almost 10 years while joint venturing into a highly successful real estate firm. Beginning in 2010, I volunteered as the Youth Minister at the McComb Church of Christ after leaving college. I maintained this position until 2020. In 2020, I transitioned to a life of full time ministry when I accepted the job of the Youth and Family Minister at the Brenham Church of Christ in Brenham, TX. I am currently obtaining a MA in pastoral counseling from Heritage Christian University. I reside in Brenham,TX with my wife and two daughters.
