About Brett Stamps

I am 27 years old and have lived in Paris, Ky. nearly all my life. I found Christ when I was thirteen years old. I decided to go into full-time ministry the summer of my senior year in high school, and have been following that call ever since. I do not look at ministry as a job or career, but as a lifestyle. I believe we all can minister in some form or fashion no matter what our line of work is. I attended Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Ky. for three years and then transferred to Kentucky Christian University for my senior year. I was ordained on June 26th of 2011 and through my experiences with internships at two different and very healthy churches, I found my passion and gifts for children’s ministry. I am really excited to see what God can do with my ministry, and look to grow spiritually myself as well as counsel, mentor, and teach the children at Gateway Christian Church about the love of Jesus Christ. I hope to build many great relationships and make an impact for the kingdom of Heaven. I am a children’s minister. Every Sunday I am in the Children’s church training and growing children to become devoted followers of Christ. During children’s church we allow the children to experience a full on worship service that follows along the lines of an actual church service in order to prepare your child for the adult service as they grow. During the week I organize a volunteer schedule for events as well as Sunday mornings, plan and organize curriculum that is used during our children’s church time, and check/follow-up on our attendance.
