About Brett Voss

I'm a higher education industry professional with years of broad experience in the creative industries. Since entering the higher education field I've developed a range of skills in the design and delivery of educational technologies. My doctoral research focused on the area of on-demand learning to support students developing their skills in popular music production. My current role as Learning and Teaching Developer- Digital Assessment and Multimedia supports professional development for higher education academics around adoption of education technologies, AI literacy, digital assessment and multimedia tools. I have years of experience working in corporate and education environments, with a client-focussed perspective on multiple aspect of my work within higher education. My work in higher education has also included lecturing and tutoring work in the area of music technology. This has specifically covered the areas of music programming and music production. I have also experience in technical management having managed recording studios and live performance spaces. Prior to my work in higher education i worked in the area of technical production, predominantly as a lighting designer within the areas of concert production, corporate events and theatre. I have also worked extensively as a professional musician over many years of involvement in the music industry.
