In 2004 my wife, Brooke, and I with our 2 little kids moved from a small town in Oklahoma to Portland, Oregon to plant a church. The church plant did not fail, but our marriage almost did. We drove back to Oklahoma, saddened, but happy to keep our family intact. Just a few years later we planted a church in Phoenix, AZ that has not only thrived, but has become one of the most prolific church planting churches in our city. From 2 very different churches in just over 15 years I learned the most dreadfully helpful kind of lessons. I started Upsidedown Marriage to convince leaders like you to win at home. because the leadership skills required in your organization are the exact skills required in your family.
