Experienced Vendor Manager in the translation and localisation industry. Previous higher management positions in the cable TV and telecoms industry - responsible for sales, marketing, operations, customer service and business development with staffing levels in excess of 200 people. Several years spent as an account director and consultant managing budgets is excess of £1M, providing sales, customer service, management and strategic management training in the banking and utilities industries. I have a passionate belief in a simple formula for success, once taught to me by a great manager of people.'Don't ever worry about your customers and never put them first. If you consider the customer is king, then your staff are a whole step above, they come first. Show your staff respect and trust. Reward them well, train them and above all motivate them and they will go get your customers for you - you don't even have to ask. A company should never say,'we want to be the company that people buy from'. They should ask themselves first,'are we the company that people want to work for?'
