I’m a qualified Senior Category Manager and Strategic Purchaser Director whose wide-ranging experience has been gained though 25+ years in the Retail Industry. I believe strongly in close collaboration with my colleagues to find solutions and drive companies forward through efficiency and data driven work. • In 2022, lead negotiator in achieving, in a supplier base exceeding over 120 suppliers. • Established Supplier Management and Development review for Pierce, creating and strengthening relationships with suppliers • Managing together with Supply Chain to achieve sales and margin goals My vast and varied experience has helped me succeed in constant changing environments where the only certainty has been a positive can-do attitude. Negotiation has been a large part of my career, and learning to listen and being emphatic has helped me achieve success in various projects. Negotiation skills even help me navigate the troubled waters of teenagers with my two sons who consistently question boundaries. I love applying my social skills and analyses to help find resolution that benefits companies in challenging situations and decisions.
