About Brian Oconnor

My name is Brian O'Connor, and I am 30-year-old broadcasting and media professional. I am currently based in Dublin working as a Higher Executive Officer in Transparency - Civil Justice - Content and Events for the department of Justice. Before this, I worked as a Staff Researcher and Editor for Ireland AM in Virgin Media Television (formal known as TV3). During my time in the media, I have done corporate and non-corporate projects for companies such as TV3, Cork Opera House, Radio Kerry, Women in Media, Dairymaster, Blue Martin Group and AspiraCon. I have also worked with such bands as Walking On Cars and White Boys. I have also worked with other production companies such as Brianoval Productions, filming short films, wedding videos and music videos. I have experience working in many different roles in the media world, including Producer, scriptwriting, researcher, videographer, editor, production assistant, Live Social Media Coordinator and Autocue during live TV productions. I am comfortable working to deadlines and considered to have excellent attention to detail.
