I am the Managing Partner and a co-founder of Fairbridge Asset Management, a middle-market balance sheet provider of bridge loans to the residential real estate market. Our firm offers qualified investors and family offices stable, uncorrelated alpha returns via a private mortgage REIT and direct participation opportunities. I have 25 plus years in leveraged finance, portfolio management, loan structuring, and operations. My experience has spanned a classic progression of sell side positions into hedge fund and family office roles that have solidified my understanding of the drivers of investor satisfaction and comfort; transparency, diligence, alignment of incentives, maintaining a command of the details, perspective, patience, and a thorough understanding of the many risks inherent in this type of lending. We fill a structural gap in the bridge lending market with short duration (12-24 months), premium yield, first or second lien position loans, often with known borrowers.
