I am a multi-team leader with 15 years of experience in a variety of industries including grocery, food service, delivery, and Tech. I naturally bring passion, positivity, and functionality to the workplace. I believe that being genuine and ensuring I bring my best self to work encourages open lines of communication throughout a team which results in a motivating and productive environment. I lead by example and work shoulder to shoulder with individual contributors to set clear expectations and work on development. I believe in explaining “the why” of what we are doing and providing tools to help empower employees. I encourage staff to make their own confident decisions in the moment which helps everyone engage in a culture of conversational communications, regular feedback, and inclusivity. My personal passions include supporting local Canadian business with an emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendly products. I want to embrace personality and perspective in the workplace as well as ensure there is a strong belief or passion for the product or service being delivered. I am known to achieve excellence, be reliable for exceeding expectations, providing creative solutions, and empowering teams to be self sustaining and embrace change. I like to take on challenges that are outside of my comfort zone and take ownership of work that I’m personally invested in including setting/reaching goals and long term development.
