About Bridget Puckett

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, having earned my Bachelors in Social Work and Masters in Social Work from Florida State University. I have trained in a variety of settings such as working with those experiencing homelessness and facilitating steps towards rehabilitation, assisting children in the foster care system in emergency shelters and safe homes, walking through unexpected pregnancy with women at pregnancy centers, and learning therapeutic techniques for children experiencing mental health issues at an outpatient center. All of these unique experiences have led me to find incredible passion in coming alongside clients individually and assisting them in steps towards change. I am passionate about creating a therapeutic alliance with my clients and providing a safe, non-judgmental space, caring for individuals in their most vulnerable setting and genuinely walking through difficulties together. I believe in the power of feeling heard and seen, and am committed to the idea that every person's strength can and will be the catalyst in finding hope and healing. Each client will be met where they are at, and given the tools necessary in moving forward, and beyond therapy. My counseling approach is centered around cognitive therapy, utilizing strength-based and process-oriented modalities. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, grief and loss, and stress management.
