In my 30+ year Emerson career A high energy experienced manufacturing, financial and customer focused executive with a proven track record. I have broad experience in roles at 3 major business groups at Emerson Electric. Dealt with and had relationships with employees at all levels from the shop floor to the Emerson corporate offices. Started my career as a cost accountant and progressed rapidly into other financial roles and then into Marketing, Service Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Business Segment Leader and last 4 years as Customer Experience Executive. Summary: Global Culture and Organizations: Traveled to over 35 countries in all 5 continents including over 25 trips to China working with Suppliers, Customers and company Employees focused on Operational Improvements. Customer and Employee Focused: Led Customer focused initiatives, implemented new ways of achieving customer input, led annual Customer Loyalty Surveys and implemented various Employee Recognition programs. Manufacturing: Trained in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Office with proven track record of implementation of Lean Principles as Plant Manager. Early in my career implemented new labor reporting and cost accounting systems in manufacturing operations. New Product Development and Product Elimination: Development of a new product line strategy from Customer input, implementation of new product designs, development and implementation of a China Strategy for Design Engineering. Implemented various product elimination programs.
