About Bryan Tenenhouse

I’ve had the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best people in the industry while developing integrated campaigns, across all media channels, for clients from every conceivable business category. Here are some highlights. My first agency was Wunderman back in 1992 when I became their only full-time copywriter, working my way up to Vice-President, Associate Creative Director between 1995 and Then in I moved to Vickers & Benson Direct & Interactive (VBDI) as SVP, Creative Director. It was during this period that VBDI was recognized twice as one of the Top 3 direct & digital agencies in the country by Strategy Magazine. In April of 2006 I was approached to join DRAFT as EVP, Chief Creative Officer, so you can imagine my surprise when, just months later, the agency merged with FCB to form DRAFTFCB. I spent the year successfully transitioning accounts and staff then in December 2007 started a strategic, creative consultancy, The Tenenhouse Project, which works exclusively with commercial clients on integrated campaigns and various brand and communications projects. In 2009, I also started working with Stephen Thomas Ltd. as Creative Director. Since then, I've expanded my role, now as President & Chief Creative Officer. The agency has become Canada's premier fundraising, brand and marketing agency working exclusively with non-profit clients such as World Vision, Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society, ALS Canada, Ecojustice, The Arthritis Society, Boystown USA, Canadian Wildlife Fund and many others in Canada, the U.S. and Australia. Yes, I have a long list of awards but I'm more inspired by results. I was the founding Vice-Chair (then Chair) of the Canadian Marketing Association's Direct Marketing Council and Board Member. I have judged countless award shows, been quoted in and have written for Strategy, Marketing and the Globe & Mail (and others), and have been a highly rated speaker at conferences across North America for 30 years.
