About Caitlin MacGregor

I'm a Registered Music Therapist passionate about equity, inclusion and accessibility. I provide music therapy that is participant led, holistic and fun. I aim to support people of all ages and abilities to achieve their unique goals through intentional and creative uses of music. I have music therapy experience working with neurodiverse children, people with disabilities, older adults, families with young children and multicultural populations. In 2022 I graduated from Melbourne University with a Master's degree in Music Therapy. In 2020 I completed my Bachelor of Music (Honours) researching, in the ethnomusicology and musicology fields,'The Role of Community Music in Times of Disaster and Crisis' and 'The Impact of Sweden’s Folk Revival on 21st Century Nyckelharpa Performance'. From 2016-2019 I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in psychology and anthropology, and a Bachelor of Music degree majoring in classical viola performance, from Monash University. My other passions include creative performance and art, community engagement, music teaching, psychology, history and sustainable/regenerative living.
