About Caledonia Yeager

I'm currently a Junior at the University of Arizona pursing a degree in Family Studies and Human Development with a minor in Psychology and another in Adolescence, Community, & Education. I've had experience as an intern at L4, working with their POWER study researching the working memory of elementary students. During my internship, I was the scheduler for the lab in charge of coordinating test dates and pickups for hundreds of participants and lab members. Additionally, I also helped administer some of these tests to the elementary school participants, which helped me gain a lot of insight into the workings of a research lab. I also had the opportunity to work as a facilities attendant at the University of Arizona's recreation facility. This position taught me a lot about responsibility, communication, and time management skills. I have built my passion for working with kids over the many years I have been a babysitter and nanny. I hope to dedicate my studies in Family Studies and Human Development towards helping better the education system in the United States. My primary area of interest is child development, and I would love to have a part in fostering positive development for many kids!
