As the Assistant Operations Manager at Bidfood New Zealand Whangarei, I lead the operations and despatch teams, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of food and beverages to our customers. With a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Taxation, I also manage some financial and budgetary aspects of the operations, as well as staff development and performance. I have over six years of work experience in the foodservice industry, starting as a cadet in the Bidfood NZ Cadetship Programme, where I gained exposure to various aspects of the business, such as sales, procurement, logistics, and customer service. I then progressed to the role of Despatch Manager, where I oversaw the daily operations of the despatch department, including inventory management, quality control, and safety compliance. My core competencies include management, team leadership, staff development, problem-solving, and communication. I am passionate about delivering excellent customer service and value to our clients, as well as creating a positive and supportive work environment for our staff. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges, and I look forward to contributing to the growth and success of Bidfood NZ and the foodservice industry.
