About Cameron Fraser
My current role is a Senior Policy Advisor within the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. My role exists to tackle the policy barriers to solar deployment, ensuring the UK achieves its renewable energy ambitions, as well as our legally binding net-zero commitments. My main focuses are ground-mounted solar, planning, supply chains and skills.Over the past year I have also been part of the Government/industry Solar Taskforce, with a main focus on supply chains and skills subgroups. I graduated from the University of Manchester with a First Class BSc degree with Honours in Environmental Science. A year of my undergraduate studies was spent abroad at the University of Sydney.I also have a Graduate Diploma in Law which I completed at the University of Law.
