About Cameron Young

As a Project Director at TC Energy, I have over 30 years of industry experience in engineering and managing complex upstream, midstream and downstream energy projects. I hold a P.Eng designation from APEGA and APEGBC, a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, and a MCIOB certification from the Chartered Institute of Building. My core competencies include project management, engineering and design of natural gas compression, gas plants, refinery conversions, liquid pumping stations and international offshore platform process top sides. I lead the engineering team on the Coastal Gas Link Pipeline Project, a 670 km 48 in. pipeline that transports natural gas to the Kitimat LNG facility through challenging mountain terrain. I also directed engineering on Wilde Lake Compressor Station, Cedar Link/Mount Bracey Compressor Station and the Phase 2 Expansion to 4.5 bcf/d. I have a proven track record of delivering projects on budget and ahead of schedule, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. I am passionate about applying my engineering and management skills to contribute to the energy sector and the environment.
