About Candace Gallagher

American Trails is a certified provider of AICP CM, LA CES, and CEU/PDH equivalency petition. Ask me for more info! Before assuming the role of Director of Operations at American Trails in October 2016, Candace served as the Executive Assistant & Communications Specialist for American Trails since January of 2006. Candace works closely with the Executive Director and Board and oversees the day-to-day operations and ongoing work of office staff, contractors, partners, and volunteers. She serves as the Webinar Coordinator for the Advancing Trails Webinar Series and is the Logistics Coordinator for the biennial International Trails Symposium and Training Institute and works closely with all sponsors/exhibitors. Candace also handles all advertising for the organization. In addition to that, she handles the logistics for learning credits that American Trails offers as a certified provider with the American Planning Association (AICP CM) and American Society of Landscape Architects (LA CES PDH). We can also offer CEU/PDH equivalency petition via the National Recreation and Park Association and other accepting organizations. Learning credits are offered via our webinars and Symposium, as well as other webinars/workshops/conferences we partner with. Candace attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona where she received her BA in Communication in May of 2005. She has worked as an Administrative Assistant and has used her communication skills through business development and marketing at various jobs. She is an animal lover with 3 dogs and 5 cats, enjoys backpacking in Yosemite, and has a busy life at home with her husband and 4 young, rambunctious boys!
