I am passionate about community pharmacy and its role in health care in the community. Pharmacists are well educated, talented and caring and are often the first port of call for consumers who have concerns about their health. My aim in conducting HMRs for community pharmacies is to remove any mystery the service holds and help them put procedures in place for HMR to be a core part of their business. So many pharmacies provide dispensing services to aged care facilities but do not provide either the QUM or RMMR Services. They can do so with much better information than anyone else and just need some structure around how those services can be done. Make professional pharmacy services a core service in community pharmacy.
