How can we make procurement work better? With insight from working with suppliers to win tenders since 1998; and working with public sector professionals to streamline and improve their procurement processes since 2008; I'm passionate about raising the bar in procurement capability and effectiveness. Through Clever Buying’s Diploma in NZ Public Sector Procurement Training and Assessment programme, our team provides training courses, mentoring and coaching for hundreds of procurement practitioners who are working towards being Qualified Tender Evaluators, alongside their busy and important roles as procurement managers and specialists. I also enjoy procurement thought leadership, probity assurance and providing expert guidance to an increasing number and range of NZ Government public sector organisations, through NZ Procurement & Probity Services. This involves chairing evaluation teams, writing and reviewing procurement strategies and plans for major projects, revising policies and manuals, preparing RFT documents, Response Forms and evaluation tools and probity auditing.
