Caroline Power appointed Programme Manager for the Dublin Regional Enterprise Plan working on behalf of the four Dublin Local Authorities to drive economic growth within the Dublin Region. She has extensive experience working in collaboration with many stakeholders delivering outcomes for enterprise and innovation. Caroline worked as Age Friendly Fingal PM & Executive Admin in Community Dept. Overseeing & managing the implementation of the AF Fingal Strategy, working in collaboration with multi-agencies & stakeholders to enhance quality of life for changing demographics through various services of Housing; Mobility & Transport; Public Realm/Outdoor Environments; Education; Social Participation & Inclusion & Health & Wellbeing. Lead & oversee the administration team in Community Division. Caroline has worked in Operations Department, FCC & led, implemented & monitored the administration services for the Annual Works Programme. These services include Mobility, Environmental, Parks, Events and Citizen Engagement to meet the citizens needs with day to day operational challenges which cover the diverse range of service delivery. Caroline had direct responsibility for the financial management of €43M for the Operations Department, both of a Revenue and Capital nature. This involved monitoring and control of income and expenditure in all areas of Operations Department to ensure internal, external and procurement policies are complied with corporate governance. Caroline has worked in Local Government for a circa 20 years, with experience in Economic Development and Enterprise, Planning, Housing/Architects and Finance Departments. Caroline brings a world view and immense experience to every project she takes on. As a highly motivated team player with a professional approach with a ‘can do’ attitude, Caroline has a genuine interest and passion for local government and is passionate about the strong future for local government as the public service transforms and continues to respond to citizen and stakeholder expectations.
