About Casey Ihtiyaroglu

I love being able to journey alongside someone during a significant chapter of his/her life. As the relationship develops and the goal is more determined, being the person that gets to see that growth throughout a certain season is what I am passionate about in my life. Being a part of the admissions team has shown me how to see and hear students' stories to maximize their college experience. I am an advocate for higher education and want to let students know they are worthy of making the experience happen. Strong community that embraces equality and diversity is vital to a vibrant college experience. During college, I was a part of Azusa Pacific University's Undergraduate and International Admissions for three and a half years. It trained me to understand terms such as FAFSA and FERPA and how to use Salesforce. I was promoted to being a Recruitment Support Intern Lead, where I am responsible for the team certain nights and am trained to know our admissions manual.
