About Casey Ray
I am currently a high school English teacher that has over 15 years of experience in the classroom. My years spent teaching, developing curriculum, managing students, and collaborating with my peers make me a valuable asset to any organization. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2009, I began substituting to discover which subjects and grade levels I would be most interested in teaching. Turned out, I enjoyed all of them! I was hired at Cornerstone Christian Academy as a middle school history and English teacher in 2011. Teaching at a small school has allowed me many benefits. To fill the varying needs of the school, I have been able to try different subjects (history, English, theatre arts, and physics) and different grades (6th-12th). As the Student Activity Coordinator, I was the faculty sponsor of many students clubs and oversaw the development of new ones. Currently, I have settled in to just teaching the seniors British Literature at CCA, and I love it.
