About Casey Tran

My parents’ journey as refugees from Vietnam has shaped my understanding of the world. From an early age, I felt a deep sense of responsibility to serve and uplift my community. My commitment to social justice was crystallized after studying Ethnic Studies in college. I have dedicated my career to resourcing social justice movements. I am a Multicultural Fellow at San Francisco Foundation where I leverage data and evaluation to inform grantmaking strategy and practices. Previously, I worked at Chinese Progressive Association where I led the organization's grassroots fundraising strategy and organized donors to give. I am actively seeking job opportunities in philanthropy and local government. I am interested in Program Officer, Program Associate, or Philanthropic Advisor roles.
