A dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic individual who enjoys a challenge. Passionate about community development and investment, together with the drive to embolden businesses to actively and strategically embrace sustainable business practices. Work is underpinned by a belief that investing in people will drive and support business in a virtual cycle. A business graduate with 2:1 (hons) and numerous further qualifications including, NEBOSH, IOSH, Social Audit Accountant and Environment Sustainability. I am currently an Ops Manager & Community Liaison/Town Clerk spearheading sustainable business practices and community involvement. Including introducing community facilities to allow local groups meet and develop, o Been awarded the Gold Standard at the RHS In Bloom Awards for biodiversity, o Introduced a living wall, Sky Gardens, a pollinating garden, and other community projects. • Enlist involvement/support from all levels, inside and outside of the Council. o Including liaising with artist, construction groups, and legal teams to introduce monuments/memorials/innovative mosaics/land purchases/building purchases/etc…. • Facilitating and co-ordinate internal & external consultation. o Liaising with local, regional and national organisations to ensure the delivery and reception of vital communications. • Ensuring exceptional services both efficient and effective. o Including attracting funding to replace vital equipment for children’s play areas and ensuring local communities are able to participate in collective activities. • Managing Council staff and operational activities. o Managing events team, estate team, finance and administration.
