About Catherine Freels

I am currently the Director of Accounting Operations at ASAP, where I oversees the accounting business processes and work product for all accounting customers from our Chicagoland office. I have been involved in accounting since I was a kid, working as a bookkeeper at my parent’s insurance agency. After raising my family, I went back to college to finish my accounting degree and graduated from Baker College in Michigan in 2010. I have provided accounting and bookkeeping work in industries as far flung as car dealerships and country clubs. The thing I enjoy the most about working at ASAP is the variety of overseeing multiple customers, each with their own business situations and unique needs. I love the feeling I get when customers come to us because they need something done right, and they know we can handle it. Getting compliments from our customers makes my job very rewarding. I am also a grandmother, and a newlywed. When I am not visiting with grandchildren, I'm often found reading, cross-stitching, gardening, landscaping and taking on projects around the house with my husband. You wouldn’t know it to look at me, but I am a whiz with power tools and surprise my husband with this unique talent regularly.
