It is widely known that pets play a special role in our lives. Cathy Beer is a passionate pet guardian with a big heart for pet welfare and pet adoption. After over 20 years in the corporate world, Cathy launched Pets4Life in 2013 at Willoughby Council in Sydney to help reduce surrender, improve pet well-being, and help Aussies become even better pet guardians. In 2019, Cathy graduated with a Cert IV Companion Animal Services from the Delta Institute of Australia (leader in positive reinforcement training). Fast forward to 2023, Pets4Life transformed into Pets4Life Dog Training to focus on helping families with their dog's behaviour and training needs. Cathy has a secret… she was scared of dogs as a child! Cathy transformed her deepest childhood fear into her purpose to become a professional dog trainer with a special interest in working with dogs adopted from shelters and rescue groups.
