About Cathy Ganus

I received my ordination through the Church of God in Michigan (Anderson, IN). I served as an associate pastor for 5 ½ years in a small church setting. In my search for a lead pastoral position, I felt that it was time for me to stretch myself. In my role as associate pastor, I have had the opportunity to fill the pulpit as well as serve as a guest pastor with other Church of God congregations on many occasions. I have served in many roles within the church, including, but not limited to, the following: Associate Pastor, Visiting Pastor, Pulpit Supply, Sunday School teacher (youth and adult), Youth Leader, Worship Team, Church Board of Ministries Vice President, and department head for Prayer, Community Outreach, Christian Education, Safety and Security, and Missions. I have 30+ years experience in the municipal arena, having spent a good part of my career as an elected official. This experience has allowed me to use my strengths in business, accounting, and leadership for the good of others. The majority of the classes for my Associate's Degree in General Studies (AGS) involve business, accounting, and management. I currently attend Anderson University in Anderson, IN in pursuit of my Bachelor’s degree.
