About Cece Schulz

If you are reading this, you most likely already know me. If you are just checking out people on LinkedIn.great! Nice to make your acquaintance. Let me be clear, I'm not out and about seeking work. I am drop dead happy with what I do: I help people! I'm so fortunate working with young, creative and energetic people here at the University of Florida. If you are a student, please copy others as their profile is way more professional and worthy of imitation. I'm here to connect. with me! Quickly.I have about eight years of crisis counseling experience. I went back to school and studied culinary arts, managed restaurants and eventually had my own business. For 20 years I worked as director of student programs for the Miller Retail Center. In 2016, I was reassigned to assist in the growth of business career services in the Warrington College of Business which I did for 23 months. Then a new role opened up at the Miller Retail Center. It was an offer I couldn't refuse. Same gig? No. It was bigger and better because I helped coordinate the connection of younger folks with those of you who are out there in the retail industry in creative and effective ways. For a year, I work as the Director if the Miller Center after the loss of the director due to illness. During that year, I grew the diversity of companies and students, taught over students and maintained my current position's responsibilities. Without a doubt, I work hard and even harder under pressure. I am open to testing new ideas and developing students so The Miller center is THE go to for executive talent within the retail industry. I'm good at developing new ways to communicate the advantages and benefits of dedicating business acumen to retailing. Besides, last I heard, retailing is business, right? Partner with me to help. I look forward to hearing from you!
